Scripture almost never tells you to be strong on your own. The pattern runs the other way: strength is borrowed, renewed, or supplied, and it usually shows up at the point where your own runs out. Isaiah promises renewal to those who wait. Paul says power is perfected in weakness. Even Philippians 4:13, the verse printed on more sports gear than any other, is a sentence about being carried rather than a sentence about self-belief. These are the verses people reach for when the day is longer than they are.

Read Isaiah 40:31 when you are tired rather than defeated — it is a promise about renewal, and it pictures waiting as the thing that restores you. Read 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 when the weakness is not going away, because Paul is describing a limitation that stayed. Keep Psalm 46:1 and Isaiah 41:10 short and close; both are single sentences you can carry through a difficult hour without opening a book.
A moment to reflect
There is a reason these verses cluster around exhaustion rather than triumph. Almost every one of them was written by someone in trouble — in exile, in ruins, at the far edge of what they could carry. That is worth remembering if you have ever read Philippians 4:13 on a poster and felt it did not apply to you. It was not written by a man having a strong day. It was written from prison, by someone who had learned how to be content on the bad ones.
